Doesn't that suggest that doing something wrong but with "good" motives is okay...when in fact is wrong? For example...can we make Halloween whatever we want to make it? What's the difference between all the holidays (Christmas, Halloween, Easter, st. Valentine, st. Patrick, etc.) if ultimately we can observe them as long as our motives are good? Or...can we kill someone as long our motives are good? (Doesn't SEEM like it according to John 16:2~3 and other examples in the Bible) Or even...can we worship some object as long as we have it as just a symbol of the true God? (Doesn't SEEM like it according to Exodus 32 and Daniel 3 and other examples in the Bible) Or...can we disobey God but apparently have good reasons to do so? (Doesn't SEEM like it according to 1 Samuel 15: 22-23 and A LOT of other examples in the Bible)
