Director SUMtv Latino, Pastor David Salazar was born in Quito, Ecuador, which due to its location on the equator is known as the “middle of the world’. From an early age, his mother instilled in him to love God and follow the Lord’s leading in his life. After finishing his higher education, he began ministerial work in evangelism, visiting several countries in Latin America. For over 20 years, Pastor Salazar has had the honor of serving the Seventh-day Adventist Church as a self-supporting minister, traveling to four continents and serving churches, schools, and ministries by preaching the gospel, teaching the Bible, and holding public evangelism meetings. His practical skills in building and construction, as well as his experience in financial and family counseling, have given him many opportunities to minister to all ages in a very practical and relatable way. For over ten years, he pastored a church in Florida before joining Secrets Unsealed. He is married to his lovely wife Julissa and has been blessed with two wonderful daughters.
