I'd like to know if plaiting my hair is a problem, considering I am black and African, my hair tends to be think and hard to maintain. Washing my hair and combing it everyday takes too much timetime and stresses me out. I choose to braid my hair for ease of like, i think my motive is quite clear before God. I'd like to know what the Bible says about stewardship of our finances when it comes to living arrangements. Outside of our tithes, I think we should allocate the majority of our money towards doing God's work, and then spending enough on accommodation that we deem as sufficient and safe for ourselves and family. Of course everyone's situation is different and "enough" will also look different. I am debt-free and and renting. My question is, should I even concern myself with putting aside money to one day own a home, or should I continue to steward the money towards other people and God's work?

i read the article of pastor stephen bohr entitled "hebrew religious calendar" and i find the following statement "According to the Jews, when the sun began to descend from the meridian it was the first evening and when the sun set on the horizon it was the second evening. Thus, the first evening would be at noon and the second evening would be at around 6:00 PM" However, from the Ellen white estate pioneers' side I find this "The Jews reckoned two evenings: the former began at the ninth hour of the natural day, or three o'clock in the afternoon; and the latter at the eleventh hour. Thus the paschal lamb was required to be sacrificed "between the evenings" (Ex. 12: 6; Lev. 23: 4); which, Josephus tells us, the Jews in his time did, from the ninth hour until the eleventh. {1922, Hand Book for bible Students 64.4} frankly speaking, which is which because both views can't be true .... and what is the biblical stand of this that the jews had two evenings?
