Q1.Could you please iron out something for me?
In a recent episode, you answered a question stating that the False Prophet and the Beast were symbolic. Pastor Bohr proceeded further to state that beasts in the bible represent kingdoms or nations (which I agree with) but when studying this question further I was pondering on the fact that the Beast in Revelation 13:18 is clearly represented as a man according to the verse. (If the beast and man are synonymous)
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man, and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
And also that the verses in Revelation 19:20 refers to the beast and false prophet as 'him' and 'he'.
20 And the beast was taken and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Q2. Furthermore, only physical beings/items could be burned not kingdoms or nations so are we to assume that the lake of fire and brimstone is also symbolic and what is the effect of the fire and Brimstone on the beast and false prophet?
