"In 1 Kings 14:31 and 15: 1-2, it states after King Rehoboam died, his son Abijam reigned and that he reigned for three years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Maachah, the daughter of Abishalom. In 2 Chronicles 12:16 and 13:1-2, it states after King Rehoboam died, his son Abijah reigned for three years in Jerusalem and his mother’s name was Michaiah, the daughter of Uriel of Gibeah. However, in 1 King, Abijam’s “heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as the heart of David his father. However, in 2 Chronicles, Abijah's heart was right with the Lord. Are Abijam and Abijah the same person? (Please note that I am reading from the KJV). These must be the same individuals but need clarification."
