I loaned a large amount of money to two of my siblings who were in need at the time and who don’t practice Christianity. I told them I wouldn’t charge interest and they could repay me at their inheritance, adjusted for inflation. When they received their (large) inheritance many years later they refused to repay me, giving no reason why, instead avoiding me and not responding to my polite requests to repay.
My question is: Am I wrong in asking them to repay me, and would I be wrong to put the matter in the hands of a court of law to order them to repay me?
