What was Jesus's work in the Holy Place.

When Jesus went in the Most Holy Place in 1844 was the work in the Holy place complete/finished.

Or does He sometimes go back to the Holy Place since in the earthly sanctuary the high priest went in the Most Holy place once a year. Does this also apply to Jesus. If he doesnt' go back to the Holy place does he do the work of the Holy place while in the Most Holy place since people are being born everyday, growing up and confessing sins.
