A Whale, a Wind, and a Worm
Description

This week, Pastor C.A. Murray will speak about the three miraculous methods that God used to warn Jonah that he needed to be about his Father's business. Jonah is an anti-hero: selfish, afraid, narrow-minded, and hypocritical. His book ends with God in love and mercy justifying His actions to Jonah. Even in a story as well known and preached as the Jonah story, there are new lessons to be learned and parallels to be drawn. Jonah’s story can be a metaphor for the Laodicean church wretched, poor, miserable, blind, and naked. Pastor C. A. attempts to hold up a mirror before the latter-day church allowing us to see ourselves in the ancient story of Jonah.
