I recently read Early Writings, where Ellen White says William Miller rejected the third angel’s message by leaning on human wisdom, yet she says he’s not fully accountable and will be resurrected. Why isn’t he judged by his decision to reject divine light? Why are others held responsible instead? Am I missing something? I’d appreciate your insight.

Some say it’s unbiblical for a man to marry a woman older than him because Adam was created before Eve, and his authority came from that order. They even argue a man can’t claim his wife is “his rib” if she’s older. Does marrying an older woman reverse God’s design and make the husband subject to her? I’d like to understand what the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy really say about this.
