I have a question related to one of your statements in Part 10 of the series "From the Close of Probation to the New Earth". I am an industrious student, always learning from your very truthful and educational series. Only this time it caused real confusion. (NOTE: because this time it is about your own study, you might prefer to answer in a way different from the regular Q&A presentation. I leave that to you). It is what you state at the 19th minute in that presentation, while you refer to Daniel 11:45: "he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain". You said that the seas is to be understood as the Mediterranean sea and that the tents are military tents: this implies a literal interpretation instead of a symbolic one! Like most prophetic passages, Daniel 11 is highly symbolic, and therefore I have always understood Daniel 11:45 as follows: - the seas represent the multitudes/people, as defined in Revelation 17:15, and also as drawn from the symbolism in Daniel 7:2 and Psalm 65:5; - the tents represent a counterfeit of the true sanctuary tabernacle in heaven, which offers the only way of salvation; - the glorious holy mountain is then, of course, the heavenly Mt. Zion, where God's people will be finally gathered. And then the whole meaning I thought is: the papacy plants its influence between the people and the final message hoping to prevent any more people from hearing the gospel and being saved.
